About Snake Shield
Snake Shield is a subsidiary of Frontier Fly Fishing. We sell snake protection PPE — including snake gaiters, snake tongs, and related products — to retail and wholesale customers across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.

Delivery
We use door-to-door courier delivery for all online orders within South Africa.
Courier: We use The Courier Guy and other approved courier partners depending on your location and order size.
Tracking: You will receive a tracking number once your order has been collected. Use this to track your parcel through your courier's online portal.
Cost: Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
Delivery time: Standard domestic orders are delivered within 5 business days of collection from our offices.
In-store collection: You may collect your order from our Bryanston office, or arrange collection by your own courier. Contact us to arrange this.

Shop 18, Coachman's Crossing Centre, Peter Place, Bryanston, Johannesburg.
Look for the Frontier Fly Fishing signage at the entrance.
International orders
We supply to customers across sub-Saharan Africa. International shipping costs and delivery times will be confirmed at the time of order. Contact us for export orders.
Stock availability
All orders are subject to stock availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and refund you in full within 30 days.
Order cancellations
Orders cancelled after processing will incur a 5% administration fee. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Returns and refunds
Please refer to our separate Refund and Returns Policy for full details. All products are covered by the manufacturer guarantee and the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
Payment
We accept the following payment methods:
- Visa and Mastercard credit cards
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) — bank details will be provided on your order confirmation email or on request
Payment security
Credit card payments are processed by PayGate (Pty) Ltd, an approved payment gateway. PayGate uses SSL encryption. No credit card details are stored on this website. For more information visit www.paygate.co.za.
Customer details are stored separately from payment card details.
All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR). The merchant country is South Africa.
Responsibility
Snake Shield takes responsibility for all transactions completed through this website. This includes the sale of goods, customer support, dispute resolution, and delivery.
Customer privacy
Snake Shield will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for full details.
Changes to these terms
Snake Shield may update these terms at any time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Snake Shield chooses South Africa as its place of jurisdiction for all legal purposes.
