Shipping options

We offer the following delivery options:

Door-to-door courier delivery
In-store or kerbside collection
Collection by your own courier

Order processing time

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days of receipt. Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

Door-to-door delivery

We use The Courier Guy and other approved courier partners for domestic deliveries within South Africa.

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

We deliver to physical addresses only. We do not deliver to PO Box addresses. If you enter a PO Box at checkout, we will contact you for a physical address before dispatching your order.

Standard delivery is completed within 5 business days of collection from our offices. Deliveries to remote or outlying areas may take up to 7 business days.

Shipment confirmation and tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details from our courier. You may be required to provide a PIN or other delivery authorisation to the driver upon delivery.

You will also receive a confirmation email from us once your order has been handed to the courier.

In-store or kerbside collection

Orders marked for in-store collection will be ready within 24 hours of placing your order. If you need an earlier collection time, contact us directly.

You will need your order number when collecting. Your order number is on your confirmation email.

Collection address: Shop 18, Coachman's Crossing Centre, Peter Place, Bryanston, Johannesburg.
Look for the Frontier Fly Fishing signage at the entrance.

Collection by your own courier

You are welcome to arrange collection of your order by your own courier or freight provider. Contact us to arrange a collection time and ensure your order is ready.

International shipping

We supply customers across sub-Saharan Africa and can arrange international shipping on request. Shipping costs, delivery times, and courier providers vary by destination country and will be confirmed at the time of order.

Customs, duties, and taxes

International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, and taxes in the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. Snake Shield does not cover any fees imposed after the order leaves South Africa.

Damaged or lost shipments

Frontier Fly Fishing holds the courier contract on behalf of Snake Shield. If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us immediately. Keep all packaging and damaged items — these are required when filing a claim with the courier.

We will assist you through the claims process.

This policy excludes events beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure.
